Drawing Sketching Pencils
Could you name a few good quality brands of Pencils for drawing and sketching?

Generals Kimberly pencils are my favorite-- i have drawn with them for years, buy a pack and there darker leads, and softer leads- depending on what you need. Easy to erase and the work you can produce with them is stellar. They are a bit on the expensive side- but worth every penny.
For colored pencils, I would suggest Prisma colors. again, expensive, but they blend like no other colored pencils will and the colors come out vivid and clean.
